South St. Burger Co. is collecting toys on behalf of the CP24/CHUM Christmas Wish!

Nov 18, 2009

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but as we are often reminded over the holidays, this season is not wonderful for everyone in Canada.

South St. Burger Co. is asking its customers to bring some holiday cheer to less fortunate children by donating new and unwrapped toys at any one of the South St. Burger Co. locations. These toys will be donated to the CHUM/CP24 Children’s Wish campaign, which supplies toys to a variety of registered charitable organizations, social service agencies, community centres and churches. Beginning November 16, every customer who brings in a toy to South St. Burger Co. will receive a free beef burger to reward them for their support.

All South St. Burger Co. locations in Ontario will be collecting toys until the morning of December 24th . In 2008, 74,388 needy children received toys through the CHUM/CP24 Children’s Wish and South St. Burger Co. hopes to help the program gather even more toys this year.

Give and ye shall receive with South St. Burger Co.!
